Also clean the entire area around the diameter of the damaged spot.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eApply the self-adhesive gasket to the windscreen at the chip location. To do this, peel off the protective film from one side of the gasket. Apply the gasket so that the chip is in the middle of the hole and the tab is pointing upwards. Press the gasket firmly against the windscreen.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ePeel off the protective film from the top part of the gasket.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eMount the stand on the gasket so that the tabs overlap. Leave some resin for the penultimate repair step. Reinsert the syringe and check that it is tightly seated.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eDepress the syringe plunger and lock it on the second wedge, blocking the plunger with a rotational movement on the spring clamp. Leave the syringe locked like this for 20 minutes. After this, remove the syringe.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eUsing the razor blade, cut the edge of the base and peel the whole thing off the windscreen. Remove any excess dripping resin from the windscreen.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAgain, apply one or more drops of resin to the chip location and stick a transparent curing film over it, squeezing out any air bubbles from underneath.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eExpose the windscreen with the K2 Glass Doctor applied to sunlight for at least 15 minutes to cure the resin.
